AOA2017 will take place in the “Pinksterweekend” of Saturday June 3rd and Sunday June 4th, 2017 from 12.00 until 23.00.
AOA2017 takes place at recreational area Gaasperpark, Amsterdam.
The minimum age at AOA2017 is 18 years old, ID is required.
An ID is required to enter AOA2017. Please keep in mind that a copy of your ID doesn’t count as a valid ID. It’s only possible to identify yourself with a valid ID such as your passport or drivers license.

If you need to get rid of your ticket because you cannot visit AOA anymore, please sell your tickets through Ticketswap. It’s the only secure way.
You will receive an email after you bought the tickets asking you to add the personal information for every individual ticket receiver. The tickets will be emailed to you, once this process is completed.
No, it’s not possible to share a Weekender (one person on Saturday and another on Sunday), since tickets are personalized and you will get a wristband, which is non-transferable.
With a Dayticket it’s not possible to exit and re-enter AOA2017 after you’ve entered the venue.
With a Weekender you can enter the festival one time on Saturday and one time on Sunday. It’s not possible to exit and re-enter AOA2017 on the same day after you’ve entered the venue.
With a Campingticket it’s possible to exit and re-enter the festival grounds on the same day, through the special Camping entrance.
Please keep in mind that the entrance of Amsterdam Open Air will close at 21.00 for Weekenders and Daytickets.
It’s not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to Amsterdam Open Air. We have a great selection of tasty and healthy food and drinks. We also serve different varieties of food for vegetarians and vegans. Do you have food allergies or other questions about food at Amsterdam Open Air?

On the festival grounds, there are tappoints where you can fill a bottle or cup with tap water for free.
The possession or dealing of hard drugs is prohibited at the festival. If there is any evidence of overt use and/or possession, confiscation of the drugs will follow and/or the offender will be handed over to the police.
The possession and/or use of small amounts (max. 5 grams) of soft drugs for personal use will be tolerated, with the exception of pre-rolled joints.

There are e-lockers on site where you can safely store your jackets and other belongings. You will find the lockers next to the festival entrance. It’s possible to buy a locker in advance through our website: amsterdamopenair.nl/tickets. The code for your locker will be sent shortly before the event, at 6PM on Thursday, June 1st. After this date you can still buy a locker at the festival site.
There’s a medical aid station at Amsterdam Open Air! The First Aid Post is staffed with emergency medical professionals and you are very much welcome for any health issues; from aspirins, plasters to drug related issues. Don’t be afraid to tell them what kind of drugs or alcohol you’ve used, everything you say to our medical staff is strictly confidential.
It is allowed to take pictures with a smartphone or compact camera. Professional cameras or cameras with interchangeable lenses are not allowed. Go Pro’s are allowed, as are Selfie sticks up to a length of 1 meter.

Submitting an application does not automatically mean that we grant you with a press pass.
We have special entrances for wheelchairs and almost all roads on the festival grounds are accessible with wheelchairs. Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any special requests concerning accessibility.
Bringing your medication is permitted only in conjunction with a doctor’s note.
